My Story
From the earliest days of childhood, words were more than just a means of communication for me — they were doorways to worlds unseen, emotions unexpressed, and truths waiting to be discovered. I grew up with a notebook always within arm's reach, filling pages with poetry, stories, and the melodies of my heart.
Over the years, that childhood passion blossomed into a multifaceted career. As an author, I've published works that explore the resilience of the human spirit. As a lyricist, I've penned words that give flight to music. As a poet, I distill life's most profound moments into verse. And as a counselor, I walk alongside those seeking clarity, healing, and hope.
My mission is simple: to use every gift I've been given to uplift, inspire, and transform lives.
My Story
Dr.Sharmaine Dobson, a prominent figure in ministry and theology, hails from the picturesque landscapes of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, where her early years laid the foundation for her deep spirituality and unwavering determination.
Sharmaine's academic achievements are a testament to her dedication and passion for ministry and counseling. She was conferred with a Doctor of Divinity, an honorary doctoral degree recognizing her exceptional commitment to the fields of ministry and theology. Her thirst for knowledge led her to attain a master’s degree in counseling, a bachelor’s degree in theology, and a diploma in social work. This comprehensive education equipped her with the tools to address the multifaceted needs of her community, combining spiritual guidance with practical support.
Sharmaine's calling extends to restoring the Church and empowering the body of Christ, as outlined in Ephesians 4. As co-senior minister of Abundant Life Ministries International in Christchurch, she nurtures the congregation's spiritual growth, fostering love and acceptance.
